My cat is sneezing. Can I give him lysine while on prednisone?

Is it okay to give my male cat a pet lysine supplement while he is weaning off prednisone because he started sneezing. Supplement states 1/8 teaspoon twice a day equaling 548 mg of lysine for a cat older than 6 months, is this okay to give while he is wraning off prednisone? Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 14 lbs

While there have been no interactions found between lysine and prednisone, it doesn't mean that interactions do not exist. To be safe, I'd wait to give Lio the lysine until he is off the prednisone completely. I hope this helps.
