Rabbit scratching neck, has a scab. Should I take her to the vet?

Good afternoon. I have a rabbit and we saw her scratching a part of her body (behind her neck but more in the back skin) for a good 2-3 weeks, but I never saw anything suspicious. Till today that i saw the small scab? she has. I thought it might be ringworm, but I doesn't look like it. I think she might have a small wound and she keeps ripping the scab out. She had pretty long nails till yesterday that she let me cut them. Should I Take her to the vet? Thank you very much. Pet's info: Small Animal | Rabbit | Female | unspayed | 1 year and 11 months old | 5.5 lbs

If the wound will not heal or grows larger, then she should be physically examined by your veterinarian. A fungal culture would be needed to diagnose ringworm infection. If you see her licking or chewing, use an e-collar. Keep her nails trimmed to prevent trauma from excessive scratching. You can clean the area with a diluted Betadine or chlorhexidine (Hibiclens) solution daily. Dry thoroughly afterwards.
