My dog has a painless, pimple-like bump on his back. What could it be?

My dog (9yr old min pin) has a small pimple-like bump on his back. He doesn’t react if I touch it so it doesn’t seem to be causing him any pain. I have an appointment with our vet scheduled for 3/10, but was hoping to get another opinion for peace of mind until then. I’ve attached a photo and can send more if needed. Any thoughts?
