My cat has symmetrical bumps under her canines. Should I worry?

Pet's info: Cat | American Shorthair | Female | spayed | 1 year and 7 months old | 10 lbs

I noticed my cat has these two symmetrical bumps under her canines, is this cause for concern? she gets really nervous going to the vet i dont want to stress her out if its nothing! Thank you helping!

If these are symmetrical on both sides and not changing, they are likely normal for Cali. Some cats will develop a benign thickening in the lip where the opposite canine tooth touches. Your vet will be able to provide better feedback with an in-person exam, but as long as they’re not changing and Cali seems comfortable, it can probably wait until Cali’s next routine appointment.
