My dog's eye is red and droopy. Is it allergies, injury, or infection?

Pet's info: Dog | Beagle | Female | spayed | 12 years and 7 months old | 28 lbs

About an hour or two ago I noticed that my dog’s eye appeared to be red and a little droopy. It was perfectly fine this morning when she woke up. We are suspecting allergies as our area is high pollen. Or perhaps she poked it? Regardless we are worried and want to receive an opinion. I have attached some photos (it is her right eye).

Hello, I am concerned that her drooping eye may be a sign of either infection or nerve damage. I would recommend taking Nikki to see her veterinarian when possible this week to be evaluated. I hope this helps. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
