My cat has daily fevers; is his blood test wrong or is he in danger?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Ragdoll | Male | 6.4 lbs

Please help me with this. My cat is fine and he gets fever daily but he breathes fine and eat and drinks. Ofcourse when fever hits he becomes so lethargic I went to a Clinic to do the test and went to a Vet at a different place. The vet said that this test is wrong and that if it was right the cat wouldnt be alive. Im so worried and want to know is it possible that this test is correct and that my cat is in huge danger or something?? Thanks

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Ghost. There are severe abnormalities on the attached blood panel. I agree with the veterinarian that this would not be compatible with life. The blood work needs to be repeated as soon as possible. Recurrent fevers are not normal and I suspect the blood work will still reveal changes. Additional testing may be necessary to reach a diagnosis. Based on this information treatment should be started as soon as possible. Good luck!
