If he continues to do so it would be a good idea to get him checked. Reverse sneezing is usually meant to clear the nasal passages of irritants so if he can't clear what is bothering him it may mean he has something else going on that induces these sneezing episodes. Pay attention when he does it to see if there is something in common with each incident that may be causing or contributing to the reverse sneezing that you can pass along to your vet, even video it if you get the chance.

Hi and thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. Reverse sneezing can be normal but if it occurs over and over again for a long period of time it can indicate something more like a foreign body in the nasal passageways, severe allergies etc. I would recommend taking Honeybear to the vet to get her evaluated if the sneezing does not subsided at all. If it does get a little better, I think it would be OK to continue monitoring her as she may fine. Good luck!

Thank you for posting this question about Stella. An increase in reverse sneezing can indicate allergies, exposure to kennel cough, nasal mite infection, nasal foreign object, and even very rarely a nasal tumor. I would encourage you to consider having her evaluated by your veterinarian soon. Please video her “events” so your veterinarian can witness what she is doing. Best of luck and I hope she improves soon. Thank you for using Pet Coach.

If Cookie has not stopped reverse sneezing, I would recommend having a veterinarian examine her so that the most appropriate diagnostic and treatment recommendations can be made. This continuous reverse sneezing may be due to something lodged in the sinus / pharynx. I hope this helps guide you in the right direction. Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns and I would be more than happy to help you further.
