Pet's info: Bird | Unknown - Bird | Female
I own four budgies. I let them out of their cage for a few hours every day, but I have to force them to get back in. They don't seem to be able to find their way back, and I'm afraid they are going to starve if I let them stay outside. How long can I let them be outside until they will need to feed again?

If they are just in your home exploring you can leave their cage door open and they will go back for food and water on their own when they feel they need it. Keeping them in the same room as their cage may help get them used to getting back to it, or you can coax them back with a favorite treat. I would not recommend letting them fly around freely outside, especially if there are wild birds, as this can transmit illness, or lead to injury.
