My dog won't open her eyes and is squinting. Should I take her to vet?

She is likely suffering from an irritating severe eye infection, i would strongly recommend taking her to the vet ASAP in order to get her eyes checked and treated (this will require antibiotic eye drops)

    It looks like Holly may have an ulcer on the eye which is very painful, causing the squinting. Immediate treatment gives the best chance for a full recovery and yes i would take her today. They can also prescribe pain relief for her

    It sounds like Choco has a severe eye infection, and she needs to see a vet immediately. Any eye infection should be considered an emergency, as leaving it untreated can lead to vision loss. The vet can confirm she has an eye infection, and can give her medication to treat it.
