Found a area my puppy has been biting on his skin wondering what could it be. Pet's info: Dog | Shih Tzu | Male | neutered | 4 months and 24 days old | 12 lbs

This looks like it could be a very mild skin infection or what is sometimes called puppy pyoderma. It's similar to acne in people and most puppies will have a mild case and outgrow it. It could also be a small abrasion or bite from and insect or other pet. Keep an eye on it and you may consider bathing him with a mild, oatmeal based puppy shampoo to help soothe his skin. If the area spreads, gets red, starts oozing, or if your puppy has any other adverse symptoms, get him in to see your vet.
