What to do if my cat's nipple is injured? Vet or home care?

Ouch, poor Sir Scratch! I would gently clean the area with warm water and antiseptic soap. To keep him from licking at it, you can put an Ecollar on him. You can get one at a pet store or make one at home. Keep the wound clean and dry, and monitor it for signs of infection. If you see redness, swelling, warmth to the touch, or pus, then it is infected and he will need to see the vet for antibiotics to treat it. I hope this helps!

Poor Scar. Without seeing him in person, I can't say if he will be ok or not. Wash the area with warm water and antiseptic soap. To keep him from licking at it, you can put an Ecollar on him. You can get one at a pet store or make one at home. Keep the wound clean and dry, and monitor it for signs of infection. My cat gave birth to 5 kittens now she is nursing them.today i noticed one of her nipple is wounded due to sucking .is it ok or do i need to make a time table for her to nurse them
I would keep the kittens from nursing on the wounded nipple as it may cause an infection and is probably painful. If the wound is minor, keeping it clean and free of debris can help, however if the wound is large, growing, or looks infected, it needs to be treated by a vet.

His nipple looked like this yesterday and now it looks like this. Should i take him to the vet?
This nipple was irritated by a scrape or insect bite I think, then Mishi started licking it excessively causing it to be more inflammed today with the hair loss. I recommend using a cone on him to prevent licking. Then clean the area with hydrogen peroxide and you can apply a thin film of cortisone cream on it to soothe the skin. If it isn’t improving then you should bring him in for an exam and treatment. This will continue to get worse if he keeps licking the area. Thanks for using Boop by Petco to help you care for Mishi.

My male cat's nipple is all hard and crusty and there's scabbing around it. It has bled we think. Any ideas what it could be?
This looks like the nipple and surrounding skin is inflammed from an injury or contact with something irritating. You can clean the area with a warm wet cloth. I wouldn't put anything on it as that may make him lick it. This should improve over the next few days. If it gets worse, more discharge or he's itching the area then I would take him in for an exam. He may need an antibiotic injection and something to reduce the inflammation. From the photo this is nothing to be overly concerned about. Thanks for using Boop by Petco to help you care for Harper.

My kitten (who is 4 or 5 months old) has this wound on her front paw. We noticed it last night and cleaned out antiseptic on it. It doesn’t appear to be bothering her and we don’t know how long it has been there. Any idea what could have caused this?

My male 8 year old sterilised tabby cat constantly bites his nipple until it is bleeding and, should I be worried?
Yes, I would be somewhat worried. I don't know if he is doing this because something is bothering him in that location or if it is a behavioral issue. I suggest you put a "cone" collar on him - you should be able to buy one from your local pet shop but if not, you can easily make one at home from a paper plate - to stop him from licking it. See this YouTube link. It will never heal if he does not stop licking it. ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W1A5tzFwRqk ) Once the nipple heals up, take the collar off and if he starts licking it again then you need to have your vet examine him to see if there is an underlying issue.
