Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 11 years and 4 months old | 19 lbs
My vet is saying she won’t give my cat his Royal Canin SO prescription without being seen. He’s been on this medication for 6 years for crystals. We saw her last year for shots and she never mentioned it. I can’t get him there for a number of reasons, is their anyway I can get a vet to send him a prescription for his food? Thank you

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Sidney. You can call other veterinarians in your area to see if they will write him a prescription. You may find someone willing to do it, but the majority of veterinarians will require an examination on the patient by their hospital in the past year. Another option is to schedule an appointment with your veterinarian for a date in the future. In this case, she may be able to provide you with a prescription for the food for a month or so until your appointment. I hope this information helps!
