My dog's Levothyroxine dose is 0.05mg. Is this correct or too low?

Pet's info: Dog | Pit Bull Terrier | Male | neutered | 5 years and 9 months old | 44 lbs

My dog is on 0.5mg Levothyroxine but the human pharmacy gave me 0.05mg. Is this the correct dose or am I under dosing?

The usual levothyroxine dose for dogs is 0.1 mg/10 pounds so for your dog the correct dose would be 0.5mg, so the pharmacy mislabeled it, or gave you the wrong dose. I would contact them to correct it so your dog gets an adequate dose of his medication.
