My unneutered cat's testicles are red and irritated. What's wrong?

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 6 lbs

Sorry to bother again but I am worried about my cat. I was playing with him earlier today and noticed his testicles were red and irritated. He is acting fine but the sight really worried me. I will be calling the vet tomorrow but would like some peace of mind for the time being. Any idea what this could be? Pics attached below.

Yes, I agree that the scrotum appears to be red/irritated. I would not be overly worried at this stage. I don't think it is anything serious but he definitely needs to be seen by your vet. It looks like it may be a superficial skin infection.
