My 12-week puppy has metallic smell & brown discharge. Is it normal?

So I got a 12 week old puppy and she’s not spayed yet and she has a metal smell coming from her vagina, and tonight I felt that her stomach was all wet she was laying down with me and when I wiped it off with a baby wipe it was like brownish. Is this normal? Should I take her to the vet? Is this something I should be concerned about? Pet's info: Dog | Cane Corso | Female | unspayed | 10 months and 17 days old | 14 lbs

No, this is not normal and can be a sign there is a problem. A 12 week old puppy should not be going into heat at this age. Yes, I would take her into the vet first thing in the morning to get this checked out. Best of luck.
