My dog has a growth on her elbow, but it doesn't bother her. Is it serious?

Hi! I noticed a growth on my dog. She's a Chihuahua/pinscher mix. It's on the underside of her elbow. It doesn't seem to bother her much but I wanted to know if it's something to worry about. Please, let me know!

That could just be a wart, but since it popped up, it's worth getting checked by your vet. Since it's located near her elbow, she may rub it getting up and down since many dogs develop a callus in that same general area. Your vet will do an exam, maybe some further diagnostics if she needs them, and based on their findings, your vet will be better able to tell you what it is and recommend any treatment if needed.
