My senior Golden has a leaking lump. Are home remedies enough?

Molly is a 10 year old golden retriever. She has had in the past internal masses but both were removed and non-cancerous. I have been treating this mass as a lipoma since she has acted as though it has not bothered her. I’ve researched the internet and used the herbal salves and curcumin chews, green tea, etc... I do give her Benadryl which helps her not scratch at it. It does leak fluid as of late. Pet's info: Dog | Golden Retriever | Female | spayed | 80 lbs

Hi there. Lipomas do not typically have hair loss or redness associated with them, so based on its appearance here, I would be concerned that it may be some other type of tumor. If it is becoming necrotic and leaking fluid, it's likely that surgical removal is indicated regardless of what the specific tumor type is. I would recommend having this mass evaluated by a veterinarian in person to discuss next steps, but my guess is that it likely needs to be removed.
