My budgie is on medication but still very sleepy. Should I see a vet?

My Budgie has been poorly for few weeks on baytrill eating more ,preening & playing with his mate but should I go back to vet as he's still sleeping a lot ? Pet's info: Bird | Parakeet | Male | 6 years and 7 months old | 50 lbs

If you've finished the medication, it is a good idea to schedule a recheck with your vet. They can help determine if Vic has improved enough (it sounds like he has been improving) and if he'll need any additional care or medication. Continuing to keep his cage warm and comfortable, and making sure he stays eating and drinking and active is also a good idea to monitor his progress.
