My puppy is gagging up food and water. Should I take him to the vet?

Hi I recently brought home my 9 week old Boston Terrier. He has been gagging up water and sometimes his food undigested. His stomach sometimes convulses and he gives a little dry heave, sometimes water comes up. His poops are solid. He has been eating and drinking water. Is this something I should be concerned with? Pet's info: Dog | Boston Terrier | Male | unneutered | 2 months and 8 days old | 7 lbs
