I have a 18 weeks old puppy. I took him to the vet yesterday for excessive vomiting. She did X-rays and gave him food and retook the X-ray and the food was moving through his system and he's had 2 good BMs since. I gave him the gastrointestinal canned food last night and again this morning with some of his own food. Yesterday morning he chewed on yucca plant and we think that is what did it. He just threw up all food 3 hours after eating. My vet is out until Monday what should I do?

Helo and thank you for contacting Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. Please, do not give Jack anything to eat or drink for the next 3-4hrs then offer him small amount of water. If he drinks it and keeps it down, you can give him small amount of bland food (for example boiled chicken or you can continue with his gastrointestinal wet food). If he keeps that down you should continue offering him small portions of this food every 4-6hrs for 24hrs. After that you can go back to his regular food.
