Why is my dog panting, shaking, drinking lots after her heat?

hello my dog is a 10 year old cocker spaniel and she finished her heat three weeks ago and for the past two weeks she has been panting a lot, shaking, and drinking lots of water resulting in frequent urination. this happened her last heat cycle and went away in about two to three weeks. i'm nor sure if i should be concerned. Pet's info: Dog | Cocker Spaniel | Female | unspayed | 11 years old | 28 lbs
