My dog ate a senna stool softener. Is it toxic or will she be okay?

My dog accidentally got a hold of a senne stool softener and ate it. Will she be ok

Hello and thank you for contacting Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. Senne is not toxic to dogs but this medication will produce loose stools. Please, monitor Poppy at home for the next 8-12hrs. if she develops bad diarrhea you should make sure that she drinks plenty of water to maintain hydration. The diarrhea will likely be self-limiting and your puppy should be back to normal within 24-48hrs.
