Yes, I can see what you are talking about. I am concerned about the swelling, and that the crust may be an ulceration or a mass. I would recommend taking Missy to the vet for evaluation. They may need to take a biopsy to determine the actual cause, then they can start an appropriate treatment plan.

    Crusty nose in dogs is usually due to your dog digging in the dirt constantly or due to a fungal disease, if your dog is not a chronic digger then i would recommend taking him to the vet in order to get it checked and treated.
