Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Female | unspayed | 4 months and 21 days old | 30 lbs
My 5 month old German Shepherd puppy has had diarrhea since her grooming appointment yesterday. Her poop was much more solid today, but still a little soft. She has been acting completely normal and eating and drinking normally as well. Should I get my puppy looked at by a vet? Or is there something I can do at home to help her?

It may be stress from the groomer that is causing Thalia's diarrhea. It could also be that the groomer gave her a treat she has never had before causing it. I can give you a home remedy to try to see if that helps. Feed her a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) and white rice in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in her normal diet. If the diarrhea continues on the bland diet, she refuses to eat the bland diet, she starts vomiting food, stops drinking water, starts vomiting water, or becomes very lethargic, she will need to see a vet right away. I hope this helps!
