My beardie is impacted, bleeding, and in pain. What should I do?

My beardie was very impacted She was trying to use the bathroom however the stool was so hard/large it got stuck in her rectum she pushed for 30 min and could not pass the stool her rectum started bleeding a moderate amount of blood I helped her get thestool out by pushing on the sides of her rectum like a pimple and she was able to pass a rock hard 2 in stool however she was bleeding significantly for about 15 min the bleeding stopped but I think She is in pain is there something i should do?

Thanks for reaching out about Jax. A veterinary visit is highly recommended as soon as possible to assess and provide a diagnostic/treatment plan. Concerns are that more firm stool is present, fluids might be needed, pain medications and antibiotics required. There has to be a cause for the constipation and without a treatment, could likely re-occur. Continue to provide warm water soaks, so stimulate defecation and hydration, but try to schedule a veterinary visit today. Good luck.
