My cat ate my omeprazole and vitamin D pills. Will he be okay?

Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Longhair | Male | neutered | 1 year and 4 months old | 7 lbs

My cat is about 7 pounds. I had my medicine on the table, and I think he ate it, but I’m not 100% sure. It was 25 mg of omeprazole and 25 mcg (1000iu) of vitamin D. Will he be okay?

Hello. Neither one of these medications is toxic to cats in a one time dose. If Louis vomits at some point, it should be a one-time occurrence, but the omeprazole works as a stomach protectant in cats, just like in people, so he will be just fine.
