Why are my Boston Terrier's swollen salivary glands larger again?

Pet's info: Dog | Boston Terrier | Male | neutered | 9 years and 8 months old | 26 lbs

My dog is 9yo and a Boston terrier with swollen salivary glands he’s had them before but they went away and hasn’t happened again for a couple years but they are swollen again and larger than before

Hello. We can definitely see infections in salivary glands & we can see small stones or calculi develop in the ducts & salivary glands, as well. Inflammation & cancer are also potential problems. Prince should be evaluated by a veterinarian because this can leave Prince with a lot of pain & discomfort. If the swelling gets large enough, it could also interfere with Prince's ability to swallow. Do consider having him evaluated at your earliest convenience so that if he needs medication, you can start treating this quickly. I hope Prince is feeling better soon.
