That's not good Titus has no appetite. I see he's an older dog, and this loss of appetite could be caused by many things such as dental disease, kidney failure, heart disease, liver disease, or even cancer to name a few. The cloudy eyes could be due to natural aging, cataracts, an infection, or glaucoma. Without seeing him in person, I can't say for sure what is going on with him. I recommend a vet visit today, and I suggest getting a geriatric blood panel and urinalysis done. These tests can help diagnose if there are any underlying health problems causing him to not eat. The vet can also examine his eyes. Please take him into a vet. I hope this helps.

That is likely to be due to a mild to moderate conjunctivitis, probably secondary to a trauma or infection. Unfortunately there are not many options at this stage a part from veterinary consultation. A check up would be needed as appropriate treatment would include antibiotics and anti-inflammatory eye drops. Corneal injuries must be ruled out as well. Thanks for using Boop by Petco! I'm sorry to hear Thor isn't feeling well, While it is possible that Thor may have a cold, I would be concerned by his lethargy and not wanting to eat. At his age, we do become concerned about several possibilities, including kidney disease, liver disease, GI issues, diabetes, or a growth of some kind. If he does not improve within 24 hours or begins to worsen, I would recommend he be evaluated by his regular veterinarian, have any necessary testing done (xrays, bloodwork) to determine what may be going on, and start any treatment that may be needed to help resolve it. I would definitely recommend some blood work, if this hasn't been done recently. Older dogs are prone to a number of health issues that can cause decreased appetite along with being less active - chronic kidney disease and hypothyroidism are two possibilities that are both very common. In many cases, these issues are treatable (at least to some extent) once a diagnosis is made, so it's well worth checking for them if you can - hopefully, there are some things you can do to make him feel better for as long as possible, even though he's getting older.

Yes, I would be concerned about the cloudiness of Bluebelle's eye. It could be due to cataract, glaucoma, or an eye infection. Any problem with the eye should be considered an emergency, as leaving it untreated can lead to vision loss. I would take Bluebelle into a vet right away to have her eye examined. Once the vet diagnoses the cause of the cloudiness, they can discuss treatment with you.

Lily could have cataracts causing this cloudy pupil, but it could also be due to an eye infection or glaucoma. The eye is such a delicate and important structure that any problem with it should be considered an emergency. That's because leaving it untreated can lead to vision loss. I would have Lily seen by a vet immediately, who can diagnose what is causing her cloudy pupil and can discuss treatment options with you.

If you can get to another vet more quickly, or even an emergency vet that would be best. Clouding of the eye may be due to an infection, illness or injury and waiting to have it treated could lead to a worsening of symptoms or even loss of the eye. Attempting to treat at home may worsen the problem or cause excessive irritation. It is best to seek veterinary care ASAP.

Poor Tibby! If he is having problems eating then he might have a dental problem and it might be painful to eat. He could also have an upset stomach or possibly have kidney disease, liver disease, endocrine disease, etc. which is making him feel nauseous. He really should be examined by a vet to identify any problems. Your vet can also run some blood-work, if needed, to evaluate his organ function. He might need an anti-nausea medication, antacid, gastrointestinal protectant, antibiotic, anti-inflammatory, or he might need a dental cleaning. Hope he feels better soon!

He is just 2yrs old and I wonder why he got blind. The bluish blindness started in hisnrught eye and eventually, it lead to the left eye.
I am very sorry to hear about your dog. It is very difficult to evaluate eyes from a photograph as we aren't able to look into the multiple layers of the eyes, but it looks like this could be affecting the cornea, or outer surface of the eye, and isn't likely a true blindness affecting the lens or optic nerve but is that your pup cannot see through the cloudy surface. This can be caused by a multitude of problems including lack of tear production and infections. We could also have a uveitis which is affecting the interior of the eye and causing inflammation and aqeous flare leading to cloudiness. I would recommend an examination by a vet as some of these problems may be treatable with medications.

Your Max sounds very sick and should see a veterinarian. Decreased appetite and weight loss are non specific signs and could indicate many problems including something wrong with the gi tract itself or any other body system (kidneys, liver, blood cells, etc). Being lethargic and wobbly are also non specific signs secondary to the disease process that is going on. He could be dehydrated, painful, have a fever, have a low red or white count, etc. Your guy needs to be seen for an exam and testing. Initial tests are likely to include bloodwork and xrays. This is the best way to get answers as quickly as possible and to get a treatment plan to make Max feel better. I hope this helps and thank you for using Boop by Petco!

my dog is salivating a lot, cloudy eye, tired, and is eating grass frequently, but will not eat his food. I am not sure what is wrong and i'm worried. He is also elderly.
Shepphard could be nauseous or have a dental problem causing the excessive salivation, and eating grass can also indicate nausea. The cloudy eye could be due to cataracts. It's very conquering that he won't eat his food. I'd have him seen by a vet now to get this diagnosed and treated. Best of luck.
