Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 5 years and 11 months old | 30 lbs
My parent’s obese cat has been going to the litter box several times an hour for three days. He sits on the litter box for a few minutes, sometimes pooping a tiny amount and other times nothing at all. We withheld food for 24 hours and gave water, and he’s only been on small portions of simple dry food since. He has no other health problems, and his mood switches from tummy pain (trying to get relief) to normal and playful throughout the day.

Hi, it is important for Percy to be checked over urgently as he could be having troubles passing urine. If this should continue to the point of being unable to pass any urine at all, it would potentially be a life threatening emergency. Best to have him checked over sooner rather than later ! Hope he feels better soon,
