My orphan kitten has bloody stool. How do I keep my other pets safe?

We have an orphan kitten we have brought home but we also have other pets and don’t want to put them at risk. He seems to be having stool issues with a little blood and have questions as to how to handle it

Intestinal worms are quite common in kittens, and this certainly could be the cause of Stella's stool issues with blood. Intestinal worms are contagious, so I would keep her separated from your other cats and dogs for now (not sure what you have sorry!). Make her an appointment with the vet for a health check, and the vet can deworming her as well discuss vaccines and flea treatments. Give a vet a call now to make an appointment. I hope this helps!
