My cat has a weird nose spot after boarding. Is it an infection?

I left my cat with my parents a few days cause I was out of town and I notice something weird on his nose when I came back should I be worried???

It may be Leonidas has an infection on his nose causing this skin issue. I would not be worried but it should be checked up by a vet. I would have him seen by a vet on Monday to have this diagnosed and treated. I hope this helps!

I see what you mean about the spot on Sheshe's nose, but it doesn't appear to be infected in the picture. It may be from playing with the other cat. I would keep an eye on it for now. If it gets worse, starts to bother her, it turns red, swollen, warm to the touch, or you see pus, then I would have her seen by a vet for it. I hope this helps.

Something is wrong with my cats nose. What should I do?
It looks like an infection, most probably either fungal or bacterial. you should take Zeus to the vet in order to get that checked, a sample might be needed in order to confirm the diagnosis and then treatment can be started.

Is it an infection on my cat s nose? He does not go outside so it s not a tick. I think my other cat scratch his nose . I can see on the top a little cut. It s kind of brown and hard. Don’t want to touch it and hurt him plus he is a 17 year old guy

My cat I found has a sore or scratch on nose ...should I be worried?
Thanks for using Boop by Petco! This is possibly an infection. However, this is a somewhat common location for a tumor in cats as well. I still think that a focal infection or traumatic lesion is more likely. You can use a topical medication like Douxo 3% PS pads which you may find online. You can apply this to the affected area twice daily for 2 weeks. If this does not resolve or appears to be progressing, have Lovey evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. I noticed this morning that my cat has this open sore on his nose. I have no where it came from, it doesn't seem like he got cut by anything or scratched. He is eating so he doesn't seem too hurt, but he keeps licking a lot at it. Should I be worried
Ouch, poor Obi! Yes I would be concerned about infection since he keeps licking it a lot. Do not put anything on it, as he will just lick it off. I would keep an eye on it and if it does appear infected, have him seen by a vet for antibiotics. You can gently clean with warm water and antiseptic soap but don't get any water in his nose. I hope this helps!

What is this mark on her nose?
The mark on Cleo's nose looks like a bit of crusted fur. This could be due to a scab from scratching herself, or could be the start of a mild bacterial or fungal infection. As long as it doesn't seem to be bothering her, it's perfectly reasonable to keep an eye on it for a week or two before taking further action. If it gets better - problem solved! If it stays the same or gets worse, it would be best to have it checked out by a vet. During the exam, your vet may need to scrape a sample of skin cells to be examined under a microscope to get to the bottom of this issue. I hope that everything goes well!

My cat has small black in color nodule on his nose close to the tip less then an inch in diameter. Should we be concerned?
From the pictures, it looks as though what you are seeing may be from trauma. Cat scratches to the face commonly occur on cats that are outdoor cats. Many times the hair will not grow back and the cat will be left with a small scar. If canto is indoor only and the nodule is raised, I would say get a vet to examine him to see for sure what it may be. It could be from a bug bite or a skin tumor of some type. If you cannot get to your vet right away, I would say just monitor for now and if it worsens get him seen sooner. It does not look infected or swollen from the picture. I would monitor for signs of infection which may include swelling, redness, painful to the touch, discharge, etc. I hope this helps! My cat has a dry lesion on his nose
This can be a ringworm, a skin infection, or an abrasion if he rubbed his nose against something being curious. You can place a small amount of neosporin on it if needed. If it gets larger or does not go away after a few days, then I would see your vet for further treatment

A check up, appropriate disinfection and eventually antibiotics are ideally needed to solve the problem. Disinfection can eventually be started at home with very diluted hibiscrub or betadine or salted water baths. What is causing her nose to look like this, and what should we do? These spots appeared on her nose about three days ago.
It could be a mild bacterial infection or it could be the start of ringworm (less likely if she is an indoor only cat). The other thing that can happen, especially in white cats, is skin cancer (squamous cell carcinoma). I think it would be best for you to have Chloe examined by your vet to be sure.
