My dog shakes, pants, and clings at night. Is it ash or anxiety?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | spayed | 2 years and 1 month old | 54 lbs

my dog is 2 years old and recently at night she has been shaking and panting and wont leave my side. I live in California and we have gotten alot of ash. We let her got potty outside but thats it. Should i be worried? Do i need to take her to get checked out?

Given that there is ash on the ground, I suspect that Kiah is feeling very anxious with the new smells of fire going on. If she seems otherwise normal during the daytime, I think it ok to go about as normal with a few extra re-assurances at night. If she is also having abnormal behavior during the day, I think it would be best to call your vet.
