my 5lb morkie was recently sick and had to go to a vet. since then she won't go on her pee pee pad ,but on the carpet. don't know how to handle thisproblem. Pet's info: Dog | Morkie | Female | unspayed | 3 years and 10 months old | 5 lbs

Poor Rosie! If she's been ill and her routine disrupted, you may need to go back to a few days of "puppy" potty training to help get her back on her routine. Making sure to give her plenty of chances, and taking her to the potty area several times a day can help encourage her to start using it again, in addition to limiting her movement around the house (like when she was a puppy) to prevent accidents. If you suspect this may be because she is still ill, a followup with your vet to rule out any other health issues that require care is also a good idea.
