This would not be a toxic dose of caffeine. I suppose the wrapper or the string could potentially become lodged in the gastrointestinal tract, but it would be very unlikely. I’d recommend monitoring for vomiting or a decrease in appetite and contacting your vet if noted.

In general, it probably didn’t hurt Cocoa but it’s not the best choice for a treat. Stick to dog treats in the future- especially if you’re not sure what something is because there are few things that are very dangerous to dogs (xylitol, macadamia nuts to name a few). You might expect some diarrhea from ice cream, but that is likely the worst consequence she may have. Beagles have tough tummies in my experience since they tend to eat just about everything. Minor upset can typically be managed at home with a short fast followed by a bland diet fed in small, frequent amounts until symptoms resolve. Transition slowly to the regular diet afterwards.

Hello, and thanks for using Boop by Petco. The main concern in chocolate is the cocoa itself, and there is very little cocoa in white chocolate. I don't see in your profile what type of pet you have, but if it's a dog or cat they will likely be fine. Watch for signs of GI upset, as that can happen with any kind of new food (especially with higher fat content) but I suspect they'll be fine. However, I would recommend sticking with healthier treats to share with your pet and keeping ice cream and chocolate for yourself :-) Hope this helps!

While the puppichino isn't toxic (as long as it is coffee and chocolate free), it could cause some diarrhea. You could try a small amount and see if she gets diarrhea and if so, stop giving it.
