Poor Opal. It sounds like she has an upset stomach, but this diarrhea could also be caused by intestinal worms. Make sure she is up to date with her deworming treatments, giving her one if she is not. I can also give you a home remedy for her to see if that helps. Feed her a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in her normal diet. If the diarrhea continues on the bland diet, she vomits the bland diet, she refuses to eat the bland diet, stops drinking water, starts vomiting water, or becomes very lethargic, she will need to see a vet right away. I hope this helps!

There might be something in this food that she is allergic to. try a good quality grain free dry food(e.g. Orijen, Accana, Evolve), transition to the new food gradually over a period of 10 days (every day put a little more from the new food and a little less from the old food). keep Nala o the food for 2 months to decide if it helps or not.

She could have a parasite, infection, inflammatory bowel disease, food allergy, etc. The first thing would be to have a vet test a stool sample for parasites and infections. Your vet can prescribe medications, if needed, to treat. Otherwise, you could try a hypoallergenic diet, like z/d or d/d, and see if that helps. Adding a probiotic, like Fortiflora or Proviable, may help, too. If she has inflammatory bowel disease your vet could try her on an anti-inflammatory to see if that helps.
