Why is my cat losing hair on her back and throwing up white foam?

Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Female | spayed | 8 years and 1 month old | 8 lbs

my cat has a little bald patch on her back just between and under her shoulder blade. its been there for a week or so, and i was told only to worry if no hair grows back after a short amount of time. she also periodically thwos up white foam. im unsure whats wrong and worried aboutbher

It looks a bit like scar tissue. If pumpkin had a wound or local skin infection this could be the result. If you use a topical flea preventative she may have had a reaction. If you see any other spots in her body or under her belly, I would have her checked out by a vet. I don’t think it is related to the vomiting. There are many possible causes. But I would discuss it with your vet. Intestinal parasites and food sensitivity would be the most common cause.
