My 9 week old toy Australian Shepherd has been sneezing, coughing, gagging, and spitting up mucus. She’s been sleeping most of the day today but has been eating and drinking water. When she’s been awake she’s been chewing on a few toys. We have her first vet visit in two days (Wednesday morning). I was wondering if I should wait and just tell the vet when we go then or if I should call them now to get her in today? Thank you

Hello. If your puppy's symptoms seem pretty stable, & she continues to eat & drink normally, then it will be OK to wait a couple of days to have her seen. But if things worsen, especially if she stops eating or develops any diarrhea, then see if you can have her seen tomorrow. I do hope she is feeling better soon &thanks for contacting Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
