My dog cut his paw pad, still bleeding. Urgent care or wait for vet?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Yorkipoo | Male | neutered | 2 years and 1 month old | 9 lbs

My dog was playing outside and cut his toe pad. We bandaged it up for a bit but it’s still bleeding after a couple of hours. Should I go to an urgent care now? Or can I wait till tomorrow morning for my vet to see it?

Poor Gummy Bear! I'm concerned that it's still bleeding and from the pictures, it appears he could need stitches. I think the best thing to do is take him into urgent care immediately to get this treated. I hope this helps.
