My senior dog is weak, won't eat/drink, can't do stairs. What's wrong?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Female | spayed | 14 years and 1 month old | 14 lbs

My little girl is 14 years old about 3-4 weeks ago her back end occasionally would go out from underneath her this last week she cannot go up or down stairs at all she is not pooping normal and has refused food for two days now then today isn’t drinking she is 14 her name is Oreo You I have felt around her hips and it doesn’t seem to bother her

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Oreo. I recommend that she sees a veterinarian soon. It sounds like she is experiencing multiple issues. If she is painful, she will experience difficulty with her mobility. This can also affect her appetite. The veterinarian will examine her and determine the source of her mobility issues. Laboratory work may be recommended to determine if there is another cause of her decreased appetite and if she is healthy enough for pain medications. In the meantime, carry her as much as possible. Do not give any over-the-counter pain medications as these can be toxic to dogs. I hope this information helps!
