Hi, my dog he’s a jack russel and I was just playing about with him and I noticed a lump on his back left leg I was just wondering what this could be thank you. Pet's info: Dog | Jack Russell Terrier | Male | unneutered | 6 years and 7 months old | 22 lbs

Hello and thank you for contacting Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. Unfortunately, it is very hard to say what the lump is without full clinical examination. I suspect it could be a cyst, hematoma or a skin mass. Please, take Frankie to your regular vets for an appointment after the weekend. Your vet may want to do a needle aspiration of the lump (so sticking a needle into the lump) to make the final diagnosis and recommend adequate treatment.
