Why is my rabbit's bottom red and irritated from new litter?

I found my buns bottom like this yesterday,behaving and eating as normal, litter tray cleaned out everyday but have had to use a different substrate recently as normal one not available, new one not as good, have washed and creamed it regularly since finding it and have changed ro a different substrate. Pet's info: Small Animal | Rabbit | Male | neutered | 6 lbs
