My cat vomited brown hairballs twice in 48 hours. What's wrong?

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 9.7 lbs

cat eats normal, normal pee and poo, but 2 brown vomits within 48 hours with hairballs!

Thank you for contacting Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach with your question about Mushu and for providing pictures, they are helpful. It may be he is grooming himself a lot causing the hairballs and leading to the vomiting. I would start brushing him daily to see if that helps with the vomiting. If it does not, then I would have him seen by a vet. I hope this helps!
