My cat vomited brown hairballs twice in 48 hours. What's wrong?

cat eats normal, normal pee and poo, but 2 brown vomits within 48 hours with hairballs! Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 9.7 lbs

Thank you for contacting Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach with your question about Mushu and for providing pictures, they are helpful. It may be he is grooming himself a lot causing the hairballs and leading to the vomiting. I would start brushing him daily to see if that helps with the vomiting. If it does not, then I would have him seen by a vet. I hope this helps!
