My dog ate plastic and threw up. Is it safe to feed him normally?

Pet's info: Dog | Coton de Tulear | Male | neutered | 11 lbs

My small dog (11 lbs) chewed & swallowed some small bits of plastic (plastic soda bottle top). He vomited overnight - 3-4 pieces came up. Seems fine this morning - wondering if its okay to feed him normally?

Hello and thank you for contacting Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. You should try and feed Sammy small amount of his regular food. If he eats it and keeps it down, you can offer him more in 2-3 hrs. However, if he refuses to eat, vomits or if he is not passing stools as normal, you should take him to your local vets for an appointment.
