My dog ate 100% cacao powder. Is this an emergency? What to do?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | neutered | 11 years and 8 months old | 30 lbs

My dog got into a bag of 100% Cacao powder. I am not sure how much he ingested. The bag was still full when I found it on the floor. Not sure what I should do.

Thank you for contacting Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach with your question about Gibson. This is a medical emergency and you need to take him into a vet immediately. This is one of the most toxic types of chocolate and takes the least amount to cause toxicity. Because you don't know how much he ingested, you have to take him into a vet now to get treated for chocolate toxicity. Best of luck.
