My dog has a white lump on his stomach. Should I pop it or treat it?

My 3 year old Jack Russel-Yorkie, Lucas, has a big white lump on his stomach. I just noticed it today. It doesn’t seem to be hurting or bothering him, but I’m concerned. Should I try to pop it? And is there a way to fix it without going to the vet?

Hello. Lucas has a small infected plaque, but nothing to be overly concerned about. Do not pop this, but do pick up a skin antiseptic called Hibiclens ( available at all pharmacies ) & gently clean the area 2-3 times a day. If it pops on its own, just continue to clean the skin until it heals. Lucas should be just fine. Thanks for contacting Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
