My old chihuahua has vaginal bleeding and won't eat. What to do?

My 12 year old chihuahua seems to have an infection in her vaginal area. She keeps licking it and she bleeds a lot. She barely wants to eat and drink. Is there anything that can be done to treat this? Please let me know. Thank you! Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua (Smooth Coat) | Female | unspayed | 12 years and 3 months old | 5 lbs

Hi, yes there is treatment for it. It does sound like Kooky could have an infection of her uterus. She will need some treatment for her which could be medical or surgical. I would recommend to have her checked over as soon as possible to discuss this with your vet. Hope this helps !
