Hello, Last night I noticed a patch of raw skin above my cats eye. My vet cannot see her for two weeks so I am checking to see how urgent it is that she sees a vet. If it's an infection, I don't want to see her get worse in those two weeks. Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Female | spayed | 6 years and 2 months old | 11 lbs

You can place an e-collar (cone) on Lavender to prevent rubbing or pawing. Monitor for increasing redness or hair loss, bleeding, discharge or lethargy. These are symptoms that should be addressed by your veterinarian sooner rather than later.
