Dog spit out Doxycycline. How to give the next dose correctly?

My 11 month old GSD is being treated with Doxycycline and spit out 1/2 of her dose which I noticed several hours later. I gave her the 1/2 dose. She is due for the next dose. Should I split it to allow for the time difference, or give her the full dosage at the regularly scheduled time. Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Female | unspayed | 11 months and 10 days old | 66 lbs
