My cat has spots on her nose. What's causing them and what to do?

What is causing her nose to look like this, and what should we do? These spots appeared on her nose about three days ago.

It could be a mild bacterial infection or it could be the start of ringworm (less likely if she is an indoor only cat). The other thing that can happen, especially in white cats, is skin cancer (squamous cell carcinoma). I think it would be best for you to have Chloe examined by your vet to be sure.
