What's the best dry food for adult cats: Royal Canin or Merrick?

hello, i have now two adult cats who turned 1 year and i was thinking to change their food since it is for mother and kittens, i give them currently the royal canin mother and kittens dry food and i realized recently that "royal canin" is not very good brand, is that right? and i did some researches about "merrick" brand and found out that is really good with natural ingredients so please can you confirm it to me if it is a good brand and if not can you recommend the best dry food for them? Pet's info: Cat | Persian | Female | unspayed | 1 year and 4 months old | 8.8 lbs
